CONGRATULATIONS! The 3rd Marking Period is OVER!

2 week Student Activity Logs

Several students have emailed me pictures of their 2 week activity logs and they look AWESOME!  Keep it up...make a routine of doing physical activity every day.

Tracking your progress is important.
How many
repetitions of an exercise or how long in seconds or minutes can you do an activity or exercise. Compare from week to week to see improvement.
Your ability to last longer when doing something shows a
higher level of ENDURANCE

Thanks for checking-in...Lets get started!  I am going to provide activity ideas for you to participate in for the upcoming week. The virtual schedule has you scheduled to do PE/Health every Tuesday and Friday from 8:30 a.m.-9:15 a.m., however, the most important thing is for you to get up and be active. If you must do it at another time, that is okay!  We just ask that after performing your activity check-in and email your daily progress and what activity you completed. If you cannot check-in every day, please print out and log your activity on the Student Activity Log provided in Files and Documents. If you are completing the Activity Log, please submit it at the end of the 2 weeks via email. Due date will be no later than May 4th.  The activities will be provided on our class webpage as well as in the files section.

This week, please try the following activities:

Try the 2 week Activity Log!  Its in the Files and Documents section on the left.  Alot of you are being active at home and outside.  Record what your doing each day to see how active or inactive you are.
Focus on building your fitness levels.
Upper Body Strength is an easy place to start.  Do a few push-ups throughout the day.  Record them each time.  Add them up at the end of the day to see how many you did.  Challenge yourself to increase that number each day.  Cardio Endurance can be done in many ways.  Examples; Jump rope, bike ride, walk, jog, jumping jacks, or playing a game of basketball.  Perform these for a specific number of reps or for an amount of time.  Write it down in the Activity Log to see how long you lasted.  Do something you like to do and enjoy it.  Include others in your family to help them stay active and healthy.
Contact me by email or Post on my Blog in the PE questions and concerns section to the left.  Let me know how your doing or if you need some help.  Musterlr@pwcs.edu
